Chinese delegation visiting Franson
On Tuesday 21 August, we welcomed a delegation from the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and the Chinese Customs, accompanied by the FAVV (the federal agency for the safety of the food chain in Belgium). They were interested in the way we produce feed and how we handle the strict regulations including the Feed Ban. Everyone was enthusiastic! Maybe we’ll export belgian cattle meat to China soon, who knows.

Entrepreneurship is in the blood at Van Malleghem. This summer, Charles-Henri Van Malleghem and his friend Louis Platteeuw will open their pop-up pizzeria Rondelle.

The heavy pieces are lifted up to the 6th floor and assembled to 2 silos that cross the building from top to bottom. In the movie below you can see how this looks from above.
Gate protectors
To avoid damaging the gates and thus safeguarding the entire front of the possible serious consequences, we have installed gate protectors. Two lines were applied on the ground to help the trucks to stay on the right path.
